Years ago I started my marketing career trying to drum up leads for a small web design business. I was competing for leads withing this specific industry with geographic areas as specific targets. I experienced some success in the begining. With each phone call everything would screech to a hault, “everyone quite”. We had to close any lead that came in we worked hard for the leads and any oportunity had to be capatalized on. These days the phone rings off the hook and the office is full of employees. A new contact calls and business continues without a missed step, no big deal. Maybe it’s good to think about those first years when the was a desperate need to close each and every lead.
